International Students’ Enrollment Requirements

Part I. Language Students Enrollment Requirements:

1. The applicant should be between the age of 18 and 45.

2. The passport should be in a validity of over 6 months.

3. Provide Physical Examination Record for Foreigner

4. Provide latest Diploma/Certificate and the score report/transcripts. When the Diploma/Certificate and the score report/transcripts are neither in Chinese nor English, you should provide its Chinese or English translated documents.

5. If you have graduated for 12 or over 12 months when you submit your applications, you must provide Non-Criminal Record which is issued from your residential police station.

Part II. Bachelor Degree Students Enrollment Requirements:

1. The applicant should be under the age of 25.

2. The passport should be in a validity of over 48 months.

3. Language proficiency certificate. Applicants who apply for Chinese taught programs should provide HSK Four or a higher level certificate. Applicants who apply for English taught programs should provide TOEFL iBT score of at least 60 points at least, or IELTS score at least 5.0, or the relevant certificates of English as the working and learning language for high school study.

If you cannot provide the language proficiency certificate, you have to sit in our entrance exams.

4. Provide High School Diploma/Certificate and the score report/transcripts. When the Diploma/Certificate and the score report/transcripts are neither in Chinese nor English, you should provide its notarized Chinese or English translated documents.

5. High School graduates who do not have science subjects/courses background cannot apply for science or engineering Bachelor’s Degree programs.

6. Provide recommendation letters by two of your high school teachers.

7. Provide Physical Examination Record for Foreigner

8. If you have graduated for 12 or over 12 months when you submit your applications, you must provide Non-Criminal Record which is issued from your residential police station.

9. Any certificate that will make your application strong, like the certificates of your ever earned scholarships or awards.

Part III. Master Degree/PhD Students Enrollment Requirements:

Enrollment requirements:

1.Applicants for Master’s/Doctoral programs should be under the age of 30/35.

2. The passport should be in a validity of over 36 months.

3. Language proficiency certificate. Applicants who apply for Chinese taught programs should provide HSK Four or a higher level certificate. Applicants who apply for English taught programs should provide TOEFL iBT score of at least 60 points at least, or IELTS score at least 5.0, or the relevant certificates of English as the working language or learning language for university study.If you cannot provide the language proficiency certificate, you have to sit in our entrance exams.

4. Possess Bachelor/Master degree above and your previous major should be related to the programs which you apply for.

5. Provide undergraduate Diploma/Degree notarized copies and the score report/transcripts or notarized copies of undergraduate courses. When the Diploma/Degree and the score report/transcripts are neither in Chinese nor English,you should provide its notarized Chinese or English translated documents.

6. Provide research and study plan in China(1500 words at least), written in Chinese or English.

7. Provide recommendation letters by two professionals with the title of professors or associate professors.

9. If you have graduated for 12 or over 12 months when you submit your applications, you must provide Non-Criminal Record which is issued from your residential police station.

10. Any certificate that will make your application strong, like the certificates of your ever earned scholarships, awards or published thesis.
